We've started making pretty packages with travel size items practical for weekend travelers.
We are marketing them at small craft fairs and flea markets. Other than moisturizers, shampoos, conditioners, bar and liquid soaps and body washes, deodorants, toothbrushes, toothpaste and mouthwashes, are there any other "must have" products for men and women? Also, we are putting them in flattish round baskets? Would any other kinds of packaging work too? This is just to add a little extra to our incomes.

Mormon Myth: Blacks are a curse. How is this beleif any different than any other early church doctrine?

American W

All Churches were segregated in the early years.

The ignorant are using issues like this to spread misinformation about a religion they know nothing about.

These same people will defend a true racist religion Black Liberation Theology and never speak of its racism.

Liberal Hypocrisy?

Answer
Mormons go around the world and convert people of color to the Mormon religion by going door to door and picking them up and taking them to the Mormon Churches where they baptize them. There are mormons who speak languages you've never heard of, because they go and stay among people of color and learn their languages.
They help them medically and treat them as equals from what I've seen.

But it does happen to say in the Bible that because Ham did something wrong to his father, Noah, so he would serve Shem. It sounds to me like he sodomized him, but some scholars say that they think Ham may have castrated his own father.
.Genesis 5:32 indicates that Noah begat Shem, Ham and Japheth while he was still 500 years old. (Noah was 600 years old at the time of the flood in Genesis 7.) The story of Ham is related in Genesis 9:20-27.

And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard: 21 And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent. 22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without. 23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their fatherâs nakedness.

24 ¶ And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him. 25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. 26 And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. 27 God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

[edit] Curse of Canaan

Main article: Curse of Ham

Ham was "blessed" in Genesis 9:1 - Noah did not curse him directly, instead cursing his son Canaan.

The Talmud deduces two possible explanations, one attributed to Rab and one to Rabbi Samuel, for what Ham did to Noah to warrant the curse.[4] According to Rab, Ham castrated Noah on the basis that, since Noah cursed Ham by his fourth son Canaan, Ham must have injured Noah with respect to a fourth son. Emasculating him thus deprived Noah of the possibility of a fourth son.

In spite of this, Mormons travel the world and display great tolerance to people of every color.

BTW I am not a Mormon. I am only sharing my observations of Mormons but I am a world traveler and have met Mormons along less traveled roads. I have seen them show terrific respect for people who come from cultures quite different from theirs.
Yesterday I came across two Mormon 'elders' going door to door to some poor people of color who barely speak Engllsh. During our conversation it did come up that they consider that the gift of prophecy is genetic and that one would have to be descended froim Abraham to possess it.
I mentioned that Moses married a woman of color and the Levilte high priests were partly black. (Numbers 12:1) They were a little shocked to hear this because they hadn't read that portion of the Bible yet, I guess, but they know about it now!
