Question for men and women- christmas gift?

My boyfriend LOVES super soft lounging clothes. Does anyone know of any super comfy robes, socks, blankets that i can buy him? anything thats really comfy and relaxing. If you know of anything else that is relaxing please let me know including bath salts etc.

However, necklaces tend to be the 'go-to' gift for guys who don't know what to get. It is jewelery, but it doesn't have the same meaning as a ring. I need some good Gag Gift ideas for a woman turning 50?

Hey, I just turned 50 this year and only a couple of people bought me gag gifts (good friends). One of them was a beautiful basket and it was wrapped in tulle and ribbon and it contained: Polygrip, ben gay, a weekly pill dispenser, one of those little plastic things you put dentures in to wash them and a box of denture cleanser. I was not the least bit offended and thought it was pretty funny. I gave all the items to people who could use them except the ben gay (Hey, everybody can use that now and then!)

Lingerie Gift Baskets?

I have an online lingerie store and I am considering offering custom lingerie and bridal lingerie gift baskets. They would consist of a lingerie item such as a babydoll, teddy or other lingerie, lotion, body wash, bath salts, powder, a candle, rose petals, music and other items. Guys...would this be something that you would buy your wife or girlfriend? Girls...is this something you might buy for a friend that is getting married or as a gift for yourself? A gift is a nice thought...and one that is appreciated no matter how great or small! And parents gifts SHOULD be a bit lavish, especially on such a milestone birthday! :O) (You should see the things I bestowed on my children's sweet 16, 18, and 21!)

Personally, I think gift cards are lacking in thought...funny thing is, I love to receive them, but hate bestowing them on someone.

Some ideas...most states are legal for lottery at 18...so how about buying him a stack of scratch off tickets to "try his luck at?" I did this for my daughter's friend, and she had a winner!

Or if your states casinos are 18, buy him a bucket of gambling chips!

I've seen places online where they will convert your photo into a watercolor, charcoal painting, etc. That might be a cute idea if she has a special family member or pet in her life. I think she'd appreciate having a pretty picture like this.

Does she have a favorite food? you can usually find unique chocolate, jellies, sauces, pasta, cheese, wine, coffee, tea, candies, etc. online too. Something simple, but she'd know you put in a little effort to find it.

For a really simple gift- a nice picture frame or album is usually a good idea. If you buy a smaller frame, you can display a gift card inside for a small add-on gift.

If i get a gift and sell it on ebay would I have to pay taxes for the money earned on it? I know if i sell a regular item on ebay for less than what i bought it for it is a loss and i don't have to pay income taxes. But i was wondering if the rule was different for gifts?

Quick Banana Chocolate Chip Bars

1 Medium Ripe Banana, peeled
1 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
Â¾ Cup Brown Sugar, packed
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
Â½ Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
Â¼ Teaspoon Salt
1/3 Cup Olive or Vegetable Oil
2 Tablespoons Milk
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 Egg
Â¼ Cup Chopped Nuts
Â½ Cup Chocolate Chips (or what feels good)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray small rectangular or 9x9 square baking pan with non-stick spray.

Chop or mash banana. Combine with flour, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, oil, milk, vanilla and egg in large bowl. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips to this mixture OR save them to add as topping, sprinkling on top of mixture after poured into the pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes.

Isabellas (Oatmeal Cookies)

1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cups flour
1 1/2 cups oats
Dash salt, optional
Powdered Sugar

Cream butter and sugar until light. Mix in vanilla, then flour, oats and salt. Chill thoroughly. Shape into small balls and place 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Flatten with a fork, crisscrossing. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-18 minutes (depending on your oven). Sprinkle with Powdered Sugar

And I had the normal luck for a guy, I guess, but I never had a REAL girlfriend, one I could trust, one I could imagine growing old with. When i was in my early 30s I just gave up on dating and decided I must have just been meant to be alone. I started finding things I like to do by myself. I bought a big motorcycle.

And then I took some night classes at the local community college, and it was there that I met her. Actually -she- came after -me-! She kissed me long before I got up the nerve to kiss her. And one of our first dates was a week-long camping trip on the motorcycle!

We were living together in a matter of weeks, and we've been together ever since.

Older people used to tell me there's someone for everyone, and I never believed it, but in my case at least it turned out to be true.
