Women, when are the following items appropriate for a man to give to a gf/date/lover?

Matt

Im currently doing research on what women enjoy receiving, as gifts, over the timeline of a relationship. So I'm going to post a list of gift ideas (feel free to add to it) and i want your opinions as to when each is appropriate to be given. Here's a list:

1. Silver/gold Jewelry ($50 - $499)

2. Candies/sweets ($1 - $25)

3. Poetry found (written by others)

4. Self written poetry

5. Love letters

6. Paying for dinner (partial or full)

7. Flowers ($5 - $100)

8. Clothing $1- $100 (outermost layers of clothing - shirts/pants/sweaters/shoes)

9. Stuffed animals ($1 - $50)

10. Perfumes ($20 - $100)

11. Diamond/gem jewelry ($500+)

12. lingerie/underwear

13. Makeup

14. Designer Clothing ($100+)

15. Spa package

etc. You get the idea. When are they appropiate? when would be too soon? what would you like most? What would it mean to you? etc. All comments are appreciated.

In the interest of equality, please define the characteristics of a female chauvinist pig?

Or provide an example, if you like.

Answer
1. Women who label other women as sIuts because they're pretty.

2. Women who label other women as sIuts because they actually enjoy sex.

3. Women who label other women as sIuts just because.

4. Women who say things like,"Eww.. I don't want to have a daughter because girls are so much easier to raise".

5. Women who say things like, "Ewww...I don't hang out with girls because they're so catty and jealous".

6. Women like Brooke Hogan who imply that females should not be in politics because they get PMS (because we all know that 61-year-old Hilary Clinton is REALLY dealing with PMS).

7. Women who call other women b!tches just for fun.

8. The entire cast of every season of "The Bad Girls Club".

9. Women who seek spousal support because, God forbid they work to maintain their own lifestyle.

10. Women who brazenly go up to guys in clubs and say, "Buy me a drink?" Either buy your own drinks or let somone offer to buy you one.

11. Women who expect gifts for anniversaries, Valentine's Day, birthdays and Christmas, but don't buy their partners anything in return.

12. Women who get mad because a guy won't hop out of his seat for them.

Voice of Reality: I didn't realize that it was 'whimsical' to call members of your own gender b!tches and sIuts just because you don't like them. What you don't realize is that, things that seem petty to you, escalate into women not voting for another woman because, "She's too pretty", or women treating their daughters llike crap because of their own innate hatred of their own gender.

Although, I do agree that RADICAL feminists are quite chauvinistic.
