What gifts do women buy for guys?

Q. Valentines day is coming up and a lot of guys always buy women flowers or chocolates, what are the stereotypical gifts that a woman would buy for a guy?
Hey Vianka if you hate cheesy gifts how would you feel about a robot as a valentines gift? I thought it was cool! she didn't like it and dumped my a*s the day after.

A stereotypical gift I guess is buying silk boxer shorts or buying lingerie for myself and surprising him. But I hate cheesy gifts like that.

For past Valentine's days I've made extra special home cooked meals with dessert. I usually don't buy him a gift other than that, and he's never given me a gift for Valentine's day, either.

Edit@Johno: I love robots and remote control things!! I want a mini remote control helicopter. http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/rc/934c/ My husband already has a full-sized remote helicopter, but it requires too much space. Maybe I'll get him a mini one and then I can play with it, too. Sorry you got dumped, but at least it saved you from the trouble of having to do it yourself (if you know what I mean). Hehehe.

I am an exclusively breastfeeding mom of an almost 3 month old and I want to have a frozen supply of milk, b/c I need to leave my baby for a few days to go out of town.I am not one of those gifted women who has an abundance of milk.I am barely making enough to satisfy my baby :( How can I get my freezer stocked for my departure? Could my milk supply be low if I am unable to do so?

You can pump after every feed, even if you don't get much it will tell your body to make more. Does your baby sleep for long at night? You could get up during the night to pump.

reasoning: they think men want sex so badly and since they are females who aren't completely disgusting- they are "worth" a lot and there are many men out there who would die to be with them.

I think so. There are definitely men who think they are "god's gift to women" - but these men are typically among the most attractive (physically, personality, job, etc) men. Not the case for women- where downright average (and sometimes even below average) women are deluded into thinking their sex is something coveted.

What kind of gifts would both the bride and groom like? Most wedding gifts seem geared to the domestic side of marriage. Am I being sexist?- but I sometimes think the brides (or the women in the family) get to make all the gift registry choices. Or do men want the same things for wedding gifts as women? Former grooms- what was your most awesome gift , received by the two of you, but you liked it a lot?

My husband and I got the perfect gift for our wedding. We have this lady through our church who sent us a catalog.... I don't remember from who, but she puts a limit on the gift, and they send a cateloge with gifts in that price range to choose from. Since I did most of the registry, I allowed my then husband to be to pick out the gift he wanted. He chose the power washer. He's used that over and over, and every time he does, he says, remember when you let me choose? I smile, he smiles, and we're both happy. I know this doesn't help much.... but perhaps if you "bing" "gift catelogs with preset prices" or something along that line, you might find something..... I hope this helps. I wish I could call that lady, but she passed two years ago, I'm sorry.

I am not aware what gifts women should like the most but still I wish to give a unique gift to my girlfriend on her birthday. The gift must look different and should surprise her. Please suggest me if you have any ideas.

watch a "my make up routine" u like on you tube.note the products and buy them for her.
keep the products in a small bag and give it to her(if u see a juicy star07 video that's better,she will show u her bag too.)
or
a beautiful gown or dress
or
a beautiful ring

if u can't afford this:

a teddy bear+roses+big greeting card+so many chocolates+photos

packing: don't give these separately .dump them all in a big box .pack it with a beautiful ribbon.and give it.

keeping the box messy and filling it with many small beautiful gifts will make it really surprising and interesting.

trust me....she will love these.
