Would you accept an expensive gift from your lover?

wearyatlas

I am talking over 18K gift. Would you?
That is Rolex.

Answer
Depends in which position he is to give the present...

If he get the money from his parents and present me then I will not accept the gift.

If he earn less and finds hard to handle his own expense then I wont accept.

But if he earn a lot and IF AND ONLY IF the gift is for some day, like very very important day then i might.

I dont know why but I never have accepted any type of gifts from my guy even though he is rich and owns a business.

But there are some girls i know who always keep on getting gifts and money from their guys. All they say is "hey r u mad,y do u have a bf??? just get the best out of him."

bf are not there to be our slaves and to spend for all our expense.

Some spacial gifts are k.Its ur wish.

Al the best.

Hey guys I would like some help. I have been riding competitevely with this stable for a very long time. I greatly appreciate my riding instructors. They are both in their 40's , one is 50ish, but that doesnt really matter. I would like to know if you can think of anything that would be a great xmas gift for them. Horse related? Maybe something to help the barn? (Its a public stable) IDEAS PLEASE :) ALso it is an equestrian english stable, not a western place

Answer
as your not very specific about what sort of gift, except being horse related you could check out the below sites for some great ideas? although I think the last one is mostly "gifts for your horse!" lol, good luck. :-)

Gift idea for a guitar lover?

ashley.ste

I wanted to piece together a puzzle of a guitar, frame it, and give it as a gift. However, I can't find a puzzle. Any ideas? Gifts for a guitar lover...from a new girlfriend.
He has about 3 or 4 guitars already and we are in a new relationship...

Answer
A gift certificate to a music store such as Sam Ash or Guitar Center. There is lots of gear, tablature, and instructional videos, etc. that a guitar enthusiast might also be interested. A new guitar might not be a great idea, since you are unlikely to pick out what he'd be interested in, and he may already be partial to his current guitar.

Gift idea for a film lover?

N

So my best friend's birthday is coming up and I'm stuck on what to get her. For Christmas I got her a rare movie poster. She loves movies. More the modern stuff over classics. Any ideas would be so helpful!

Answer
A co worker suggested for my gift to give a box or bag of popcorn, movie ticket (gift certificate), and one or two of those 10 dollar movies. I don't know what she likes, so get something and attach the gift card receipt to it so if she doesn't like your movie choice, she can exchange it (as long as it's not opened). If she likes candles add that... and you never go wrong with a few chocolates (I'd put a note for good nights... or something)...

Cheers

What is a good gift for an organic food lover?

q w

What is a good gift for a person who is new mother and is health conscious about the things she feeds and uses with her family. She has just switched to buying organic foods and has become vey aware of harmful chemicals in alot of products.

Answer
I would just walk the organic section, and pick some items that you know she likes. I think a nice basket (or organic, bamboo bowl!) filled with organic pasta and sauce, some organic herbs and spices, sauces, chutneys and jams - things like that would be really nice, and not perishable. That's a really nice gift by the way - you are obviously wanting to put some thought into it! You could also add a nice bottle of wine to be mix, or organic juice, plus some nice, natural linen napkins and such!
I hope that at least inspires you!
Oh - and Terence - it's not just about the pesticides and chemicals that we're digesting off the fruits and veggies, and the hormones that we're pumping into our meats and poultry - it's about the ecological effects of those chemicals and pesticides, and what they are doing to our water supply, our land, and the air we breathe. It is also about sustainable culture and supporting local farmers and companies who want to make this earth a better place for generations to come.

Happy Holidays!

She is recently married so it could be something for their house as well. She also really likes cats. Any and all gift suggestions will be appreciated, thanks!

Answer
You could get her a copy of 'Chicken Soup for the Teacher's Soul' or Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul', which are books of little uplifting/thought provoking true stories about the respective subject.

Or perhaps something like a framed picture for her house, either of her and her husband or of a cat, or perhaps a cat-themed biscuit/cookie tin.

What are good brands of wine from South Africa for gift?

Dragoon

Going to South Africa, planning to buy a few bottle of wine. Any good brands?
Also, what other gift is good to bring from South Africa?
Thanks in advance

Answer
First check out which South African wines are already available in your country. It would be pointless to transport a bottle of wine that is easily available in larger retailer in your own country. The best known are probably KWV, Nederburg

http://www.sawineabroad.com/retailers_countries.asp

A lot of the wine farms sell wines that are not stocked in the local bottle stores. So, many different varieties . . . and as many different tastes. Red, white, rose, dry, semi dry, semi sweet, sweet. Know the person for whom you are choosing a wine.

http://wineenabler.com/holiday-gift-ideas-wine-lovers/

Take a tour to a winery, and taste the wines, and decide on a bottle. Or go to a large bottle store and ask for some help in deciding.

There are so many different wines in South Africa, difficult to decide on a few, especially since the year is also of importance.

A good bottle store in Cape Town is Steven Rom Liquors, Sea Point Galleria Centre 76 Regent Road Sea Point . There are many more all over South Africa.

Enjoy your trip.

I failed to give a gift to a woman for her birthday. How can I make up for my fault?

I feel so regretful. I failed to give a gift to a woman for her birthday. We were not able to meet up on her birthday because she needed to work that day. But a couple of weeks later I didn't give her a gift when we met for a dinner. I feel so regretful. How can I make up for my fault? Does she possibly feel disappointed?

Answer
This depends on the type of relationship you two have. If she's a friend it will be easier to fix this. If she's a lover, oh boy! Have you seen her since you had dinner with her and how long ago was that? If she's not answering your calls or dodging you she's really ticked off.

Call her up, apologize and tell her you had a lot of things going on and how bad you feel about missing her birthday. Ask her if there's anyway you can make it up to her. Don't promise you'll do ANYTHING she wants. Don't sound so desperate. Even if she is ticked off she will find some way for you to make it up. She won't pass up the opportunity. Call her a couple of days after you've discussed the matter with her to see what she wants to do. She may hem and haw and say it's too late, then soften and tell you that you really don't have to do anything. Then surprise her with a bouquet of flowers, don't go overboard but nothing cheap either. Something you can hide behind your back and present to her or have them sent to her work.

Next year, make a huge note for yourself to send her something for her birthday without having to meet up in case that doesn't work out.

This works for me!

What is a unique Christmas gift for the guy that has everything?

Fancy

I am having a hard time trying to come up with a unique gift for my husband, who pretty much has everything. A creative gift, like a lobster-gram or something like that. He is creative, fun, wacky, an avid outdoorsman (he has ALL of the gear) into wine and food. Please don't say a gift certificate. He can be kinda picky too.

Answer
Check out WineEnthusiast.com, they have all kinds of fun stuff for wine lovers.

I don't know where you live, but you could get him passes to a nearby ski mountain? OR tickets to a show or concert he'd like? It's hard to say without knowing more about him, cause the guys who have everything are the worst, you really have to pick at the intimate things you know about them to come up with something good. I have the same issue with my boyfriend. Order stuff from Omaha steaks.
I know my local newspaper is sponsoring a wine of the month club, maybe you could find one near you to join?
