I have a family member living in Leeds, and I would like to send him a Christmas present but by the time I pay the cost of postage I'll have way less money for a gift. Are there any good places I could get him gift cards to that I can purchase here and have them sent there?

My boyfriend is a huge Leeds Fan ( i know not the best team in the world but he likes them all the same) so for his birthday i wanted to get him something special so i splashed out on a signed leeds shirt and had it framed, he loved it and now it has prode of place in our front room even though i am a Man united fan, the point i'm trying to make is its not about how much you spend it's about the thought and time you have taken to choose the right give, get him something to do with what he likes, what he's interested in and he will be extremely greatful.

Starving Student Food Aid?

Any ideas what could I put in a package for a starving vegetarian student in Leeds for her birthday?

packets of pasta, tinned or dried veggies, beans, peas, lentils, couscous, cocoa (who doesn't like cocoa?), teas, rice packets, spices, seasonings, or anything you could keep in dry storage would work. It can be tough to package and ship fresh foods.

I just thought of this, if there is a large market nearby (kroger stores here is a good example), they often offer gift cards that you can purchase online and have shipped anywhere. You could check to see if any of her local markets have that option.

But I think a more personalized package is the nicest gesture, so maybe have the card sent to you and put it in the package too. That way she gets a package of assorted dry goods you chose (we all love getting packages), but can still purchase the fresh stuff needed to make full meals.

Do you get a wristband at iTunes Live: London Festival?

I know you use an e-ticket to get in, which I have, but do you get a wristband like other festivals? (such as Leeds, Reading, etc)

Im a sales employee working at that event, and the answer is no. You do not get a wristband. If you are talking about needing a wristband to get in, the answer is no. But, you do get an Itunes Live: London wristband as a gift for going to the concert! They give you a wristband at the entrace, and I believe there are different colored ones, but on the wristband, the phrase "Live the London Way" is imprinted on the wristband.

Why are these two different words spelled exactly the same? Are their any other words in the English language like this?
