Wedding Anniversary Gift Idea?

It's my sisters first wedding anniversary is coming up. What are some possible gifts I could get her? Price limit is $100.

The traditional 1st anniversary gift is paper. So, personalized stationery with both the couples' names, or for just her with her married name (check out Crane & Co.). Or, you could do playing cards (made of paper, so...) from Tiffany & Co. and the gift tag can say "You played your cards right! Happy Anniversary!" of course you're not obligated to give them an anniversary gift but it's a very thoughtful idea. A really great site for unique and beautiful gifts is Layla Grayce, they have a lot of pretty stuff and I'm sure you can find something for her there. Or for both of them if you would prefer that. Also look through Red Envelope.com and Uncommon Goods.com for ideas if you still need them.

Help! I need an anniversary gift for my wife of 7 years. We're coming off having a baby, and things are great. I'm not looking to break the bank. Any input would be great!!!

I purchased this beautiful copper statue (stands about 12" tall about $60 or so) of a man and woman under his coat in the rain, kissing...my husband really loved it - it's a great statue and a wonderful reflection of the two of us. We have it on one of the prominent shelves in our family room. We always use the anniversary gift (modern or traditional) list when we go shopping - it makes for a fun "scavenger" hunt for anniversary gifts. We've had some very creative anniversaries that way.

Can you get your money back if something was custom made but you are not happy with it?

I ordered a custom ring, it is beautiful but, in the 7 weeks since I received it 3 stones have fallen out. I returned it once and they repaired it and since then 2 more stones have fallen out. I have hardly even worn it. It is an anniversary gift (anniversary is in January) so it has been in the box 90% of the time.

I just think I have a lemon. They say custom orders are non returnable. Do I have a leg to stand on?

It depends on the stores return policy. If it says non-returnable, I think you're probably out of luck. You can always try to talk to someone in customer service to see about having it redone. Maybe you'll have better luck that way. Good luck!

What do you give your grandparents on their 47th wedding anniversary?

I want to give my grandparents a gift for their anniversary without breaking my bank. I'm wondering what the best thing would be, specifically, for the 47th anniversary.

My parents have celebrated their 53rd (their 54th in is 3 weeks) . I gave them a new quilt for their 50th and am currently quilting another one. By the time they've been together that long, they generally have everything that they need. Ask them what they would like. My folks can't easily go out to a restaurant any more, so I periodically ask Mom if she wants a break from cooking and I go to a restaurant and buy them the whole meal and take it to them. Last week, it was barbecued ribs. They don't need stuff (although they needed quilts to replace blankets that are worn out).

My parents normally celebrated their anniversary by going for an ice cream cone and the latest popular movie. These days, I buy them a DVD of whatever has just come out that they might like plus ice cream and waffle cones.

What should I do/get my boyfriend for our 6 month anniversary?

We've never really given each other presents for every anniversary, but 6 months is an accomplishment I'd say. So I'd like to give him a few gifts. Our anniversary also falls on 4th of July if that helps for any additional ideas!

my boyfriend and i have our 6 month on wednesday :D
but i got him tickets to the blink 182 concert cause he
really wants to go. and we're also going up to the mountains
and getting couples massages and spending the day at a spa.

i had no idea what to get him until my ex boyfriend suggested
the blink concert. haha. so just pay attention to your boyfriend
and what he says to try and get some clues on what he'd want
