60th birthday gift for mom?

My mom's 60th birthday is in a few weeks. Since this is a milestone birthday, I want to give her something really special. My two main things are I want my gift to be "luxury" and "personalized" and I am not sure what to get. I just want it to be unique and special. Budget $500. Any suggestions from Yahoo!-land?

I recently got my mom a sheepskin rug for her 50th birthday. It meets all of your criteria - they are extremely luxurious, plush and unique. The gift was personal as well since she has arthritis in her knees and this gave her something soft to step onto for her first steps of the day (we placed it next to her bed).

I linked to the site I got hers from below. We got her the natural shaped double rug which seems to be the best one for putting alongside the bed. Obviously you'll need to pick one based on where it would be placed.

The only way to shrink the sweater is by altering it or removing some of the knitting. If you do not know how to sew, many dry cleaners alter clothes.

Washing and drying the sweater won't shrink it. Can you imagine the dilemma a plus-sized person would face if washing and drying clothes made them smaller?

This woman washed her shirts in hot water and dried them in the dryer three times and the shirts did not shrink, and these where 100% cotton shirts:

My manager's birthday coming and I want to get her a gift but I am new to the company and only known her for a few weeks. What is a good birthday gift for virgo ladies?

I think Virgos like stuff they can use - i have a close virgo friend and with her you kind of have to know what shes into - you cant just buy her any type of jewellery or any outfit - having said that if you don't know this particular girl i think your safest bet is a feminine flowery scented perfume or feminine-minimalistic jewellery - but not too feminine in case shes not into that.

What happened to all my emails in my inbox?

I used to have about 2,000+ emails in my inbox and now I only have 114. I know one of my emails was a birthday gift card and now I can't find it. Something wiped out the emails.

A number of people are having this problem of entire blocks of e-mail vanishing Yahoo have no idea why. The number of people on here who lose important mail, photo's, document's et al is amazing. The first rule of computers is make a back up. The second is..another one. . Hard drives die, memory sticks die, mail goes missing, with 1 Tb drives at the price they are now it's not that expensive. Better safe than sorry.
