Gift ideas for a 9 month anniversary?

Samantha

So it's my boyfriend and my 9 month anniversary, or "monthiversary", and I want to show him how much I love him. We are both 16 so no sex gifts or whatever. I wanna do a gift and also a homemade and sentimental gift. Any ideas? Thanks!

Answer
I don't really celebrate monthiversary's with my boyfriend, but if we happen to be together (long distance) on a monthiversary and alone, we usually fool around a bit, no gifts needed ;)

Is a Dr. Weil professional juicer an appropriate gift for a 9th wedding anniversary?

guyger1

I'm thinking of getting juicer for my wife for our 9th anniversary. we're trying to be more healthy and i thought this would be something the whole family could enjoy and see benefits from.

Answer
My personal belief is that stuff for the house should be bought regardless and should not be given as a gift, unless it is something unnecessary and she has specifically asked for it. I think that personal occasions should have a personal gift given. I am someone who will never ask for something personal and will be more practical and ask for an appliance for a gift just because I feel bad asking him to spend money on me, but he loves me enough to do it anyway. Even if someone is practical, they would enjoy something personal better, and you should buy the juicer anyway because, as you said, the family can enjoy it.

Get her something that SHE can enjoy, not the family.

Your boyfriend will appreciate a thoughtful gift.

It can be difficult purchasing a gift for a boyfriend of two years, but you can use your boyfriend's personality as a guide. Some gifts are romantic as well as exciting. Some are practical items that your guy should find very useful. Above all, present a gift that is thoughtful and memorable to show your guy that you love him.

Activities
Activities can be exciting gifts that create memorable experiences. For instance, a train ride to a nearby city can become a spontaneous venture. Together, you can explore new restaurants, parks and even movie theaters. If you can afford it, buy two Eurail passes for the European railways and surprise your guy with a backpacking trip through Europe. Other outdoor activities, such as canoeing and camping, can typically fit into a tight budget.

Romantic Ideas
Your boyfriend might appreciate a romantic gift that permits the two of you to reconnect. A homemade dinner is a romantic idea that can lead into a movie that the two of you can cuddle up by and watch together. Some couples forget about date nights after having been together for two years. Make plans that both of you can enjoy. For instance, some couples appreciate tickets to a play and others are more excited about tickets to a sporting event.

Sentimental Gifts
Sentimental gifts pay homage to your relationship and they show your guy your love. A sentimental gift basket can include tokens from your dates, such as concert ticket stubs and photos from your holidays spent together. Alternatively, create a romance board out of cork board and put romantic items on it, including photos and love notes. Framed photographs are sentimental; you can have the frame engraved for a special touch.

Practical Items
Some guys appreciate practical gifts. Your boyfriend might need a quality tool set with a drill if you are moving in to your first place together. Or get him some items for the house, such as a canvas print of a vintage postcard that he likes. Some men who never like shopping for themselves can appreciate clothing for a gift. If your guy wears his clothes until they have holes, get him some new boots, jeans and boxer shorts.

9th Anniversary Gift Ideas for my husband?

Mami

We will have our 9th anniversary this coming november I need some good and creative ideas what I should get him?

Answer
Well traditionally pottery is given at the 9th anniversary - but I'm betting your hubbie wouldn't want a bowl.

Leather is the modern gift. Give him a leather jacket for winter. Or a new leather arm chair. If you're looking for smaller gifts, buy a good leather wallet or watch.

9 month anniversary gift?

beautylitt

I know that 9 months isnt like a significant month count (like 6 months or a year) but I still would like to get something for my boyfriend. We are juniors in highschool. I have about a 50 dollar budget. Any ideas? He likes Seahawks, baseball, sentimental gifts. But I don't know what to get him. It seems like he has everything. Lol :) well thanks :)

Answer
wow you are so sweet. i'm sure whatever you get would be nice. just remember though whatever you do has to be out done the following time so it can get tricky after a while. keep it simple for now and save the good stuff for the really big days. maybe a tee shirt or a hat.
