Good homemade Christmas gifts?

I'm looking to make some gifts for my boyfriend and family. The issue isn't really money as much as I just think they'd all really appreciate a homemade gift and knowing I put effort into it. (Especially my boyfriend) So you don't have to just suggest things that are cheap and effortless, just anything that would be a great homemade gift! Thanks!

PS. Already thought of a tie blanket, mix cd, and homemade rock candy. (And other homemade food)

Creative uncle gifts?

Okay so my boyfriend is 17 and he's going to be an uncle and I'm trying to think of a creative cute gift to give him when his niece is born in a few weeks and I can't think of anything and need some help. The weird thing is that me and his niece have the same name, so I'm trying to think of something really special that has to do with that as well. Thanks!

My husband and I are invited to an engagement party. It's one my husbands frenz. What's a good gift idea? Oh and do u buy an engagment gift and a wedding gift?

See if they are registered and buy an engagement gift from there. Or I would give them a gift certificate to a store they can use. If they have a home try Home Depot or Lows as they can always use that.

How much gifts does your child receive from Santa Claus?

So every year, my children get a big gift from Santa (usually expensive) and a small cheap gift, plus they get a stocking filled with candy. Then I usually give them one decent gift. Is that too much? How many gifts do you give your child?

We have 3 kids and they each get 1 Santa gift (the big or expensive one) and then he fills stockings. My oldest is 11 and knows but is keeping it to himself. Then we get the kids 5-8 gifts each. Some small like pajama pants and some big(her). Regardless, I'm done wasting money on cheap crap I'm throwing away in 3 months.

You seem just about fine. I hate when parents go overboard and go broke at Christmas. If its between my light bill or a new video game my son wants, bill gets paid first.

Can I use xbox gift cards to buy apps on windows phone 8?

I cannot currently find gift cards for windows phone at my local market. The only thing available is xbox gift cards( and I think I have read online that Microsoft gift cards can be used on multiple platforms)So, is this possible or is there a place in the UAE where I can buy windows phone gift cards?

Everything that is Microsoft, you just need a Microsoft gift card, it's quiet a new thing so maybe it's only in the US for now.
